Art. no. 486 CP00 - BlueConnect Plus Module

In addition to the integration of additional sensors, the BlueConnect Plus Module also enables the expansion of the input and output interfaces of the BlueBox system.
A BlueConnect Plus Module can not only integrate data into a BlueBox System but can also acts as an output for example to an external PLC. In addition, control tasks such as switching valves or pumps can also be performed using the BlueConnect Plus Module in combination with a controller from the BlueBox System.

Modular Design
The modular design of the BlueConnect Plus Module offers space for up to four freely selectable sensor or I/O cards. The module can thus be individually configured for your specific requirements or can subsequently be upgraded.

Integration

Digitisation of analogue sensors
Digitisation of analogue sensors
The BlueConnect Plus Module effortlessly brings an analogue sensor into the digital world. Once the sensors have been connected, the converted data can be read out via Modbus RTU (RS485). The associated protocol is freely available, enabling a direct connection to a PLC or a Modbus master.
If a sensor is used that must be calibrated at certain intervals, the module can be connected to a laptop and calibrated with the associated free of charge PC software.

Integration into the BlueBox-System
The BlueConnect Plus Module enables the cost-efficient integration of analogue sensors into the BlueBox System via CAN bus. If no Modbus interface is available, the module can also be used to connect digital sensors. The BlueConnect is equipped with 11 cable connections for simple wiring and further looping of the CAN bus connection. This allows a straightforward set-up of complex measuring systems.

The BlueConnect Plus Module also offers the convenient option of providing a power supply for the connected sensors and I/O's. For extensive measurement networks, the distance between controller and sensors can be increased by installing a BlueConnect. If, in a complex measurement network, the power supply cannot be guaranteed by a single power supply unit, the BlueConnect can supply part of the measurement system with an additional power supply unit.

The BlueConnect Plus Module enables to output data of a BlueBox System controller to an external PLC.
If the available output interfaces of a BlueBox controller are not sufficient, they can easily be extended by placement of an additional BlueConnect Plus Module with output cards.

The BlueConnect Plus Module can be utilized in combination with the PLC functionality of the BlueBox System to perform control tasks. Suitable output cards allow to perform tasks like switching valves or pumps.
The logic for theses tasks can be programmed by using the corresponding software.

With the help of the BlueConnect Plus Module external data or signals, for example those of sensors, can be integrated into the controllers of the BlueBox System.
The module allow for a decentralized placement. Hence, the BlueConnect Plus Module and the controller do not need to be in the same location.
