INTCATCH, 2020, environmental protection, water quality, water monitoring

GO Systemelektronik GmbH participates in the INTCATCH project funded by the European Union as part of the H2020-EU.3.5.4. - Enabling the transition towards a green economy and society through eco-innovation programme. The goal of INTCATCH is to develop new approaches to the monitoring and management of surface water quality, that is ready for global waters in the upcoming period of 2020-2050. The project aims to achieve its objective through the development of future-oriented solutions that focus on the efficiency and usability of systems and strategies for water monitoring.

We support this vision by applying our experience and knowledge in the field to develop technical innovations that enable the measurement of relevant parameters and provide access to real time data. We hope that our participation in the INTCATCH project contributes to the improvement of water quality and environmental protection in Europe and the rest of the world.

GO Systemelektronik participates in the research project MIKROOZON together with the CONDIAS GmbH and the Fraunhofer-Institut für Siliziumtechnologie ISIT. The project is supported through funding by European Union – European Regional Development Fund.
The objective of the project is the development of a small-scale ozone generator, which allows the production of ozonized water on basis of electrolysis as an environmentally friendly disinfectant. This technology is already used in large applications, such as industrial plants. Through the development of a miniaturized implementation it is possible to realize the production process in small amounts and directly at the point of use. Conceivable applications for the MIKROOZON project are, for example, machines that require frequent disinfection to comply with hygiene regulations.
